News You Need to Know about TLA’s App

Thu, 02/02/2023

Thank you to everyone who has downloaded our new phone app. Pease be patient as we work through the emails and phone calls requesting assistance. We promise to get to you as soon as possible.

In the meantime, click here to read a few quick tips to help you better navigate the app, as well as instructions for requesting access, if you accidently delete your invitation. You also can watch a quick video of app highlights here. Click here to view a short video on submitting a maintenance request and here to watch a video explaining TLA Notifications.

In helping members, we have learned a few items you might find interesting. These items are listed below.

  • The app invitations were sent in the name of the first person listed on the property record. That means if the property is in Joe Smith’s name. Both he and his wife’s invitation were sent addressed to Joe Smith, and subsequently the welcome message will reflect Joe’s name. No worries, this is an easy fix. Simply email webmaster@landings.org and let us know your name and email address, the name that currently is displaying, and what you would like the name changed to. Ex: Cindy Smith (cindy1234@tlamail.com). The app shows Joe’s name. Please change to Cindy.
  • If you have issues viewing the smart buttons on the app, we can run a diagnostic test on your record to ascertain the issue. Simply email webmaster@landings.org  and let us know your name, email address, and that you cannot see smartbuttons for such things as putting in guest passes or reporting a maintenance request. We will email you as soon as your issue has been resolved.
  • If you did not receive an invite, please check your junk and spam mailboxes to ensure it didn’t go there. If you still cannot find it, email webmaster@landings.org and we will resend your credentials.
  • In the coming weeks, we will offer a few drop-in app tutorial sessions in the Association’s Meeting Room (600 Landings Way South). The schedule is below. This is your chance to bring in your mobile device and let us show you how to navigate the app.
    • February 13 - 2 to 4 p.m.
    • February 20 - 1 to 3 p.m.
    • March 7 - 1 to 3 p.m.

As you explore the app, be sure to let us know if you see anything that can be improved or anything that you especially enjoy. We’re always looking for feedback on what we can add or update, as we bring another means of communication to our community.

Happy Exploring!
