CLOSED Thanksgiving Day

Landings Harbor Marina

Happy Thanksgiving Week to everyone! We will be open regular business hours every day, but closed on Thursday, November 24, Thanksgiving Day, so that our team may spend the day with their family and friends. Remember to schedule your launch and boat movements on Wednesday, November 23 through BoatCloud if you will be using your boat on Thanksgiving Day. Please be sure to check on your boat, as there will be no staff available. We will open back up at 8:00 AM Friday morning.

Tropical Storm/Hurricane Nicole

The marinas fared well overall with the strong winds and rain from Tropical Storm Nicole. We stayed open Thursday until mid-afternoon to prepare the marina and the boats for the storm, and then sent the team home to stay safe, as there was a tornado warning for the area. We had large amounts of marsh wrack (seaweed or other marine vegetation) pushed into our basin by the tides and winds. Our crew used our work boat and ultimately the barge that Dolan Yacht Services loaned us to guide the wrack back out into the open waters. Some seawall repairs will be necessary, as expected.

Forklift Maintenance

The smaller of our two forklifts received new drive tires on Tuesday. Staff replaced several hydraulic hoses during the down time. The final service was also performed on both lifts as part of the quarterly program through Thompson Lift Truck.

Marina Ship’s Store

We would love for you to bring your friends and family by Thanksgiving week to show them our beautiful marina, and you can even treat them to a cup of Leopold’s, Savannah’s famous ice cream. Remember, the store will be closed on Thanksgiving Day and will re-open Friday morning.

The Ship’s Store has several items for the Landings boater in your life. We are open daily year-round and hope you will consider starting your holiday shopping with us.

Landings Sailing Club

Once the storm passed through, the sailing club members were able to take advantage of the beautiful weather on the weekend and get out onto the water.

Dry Storage

The Landings Harbor Marina dry, wet, and jet ski storage is just temporarily one shy of full capacity. We continue to maintain a waiting list for all slips. We are in the process of filling one small open slip at LHM and a couple at DCM.

CLOSED Thanksgiving Day

Another summer has come and gone. It was great to see all our regular's day after day. As the weather cools, the sunsets seem to get more spectacular. You should come see for yourself. There are more new boats to see as well. Transient traffic is at its busiest, with people escaping the winter weather and making their way south for the season.

Lost & Found

A Yeti tumbler was left by the bathrooms this week. Please call 912-598-0023 or stop by if you believe it is yours.
