This in-person meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 20 at 3:30pm, at the Messiah Lutheran Church on Skidaway Island (1 Westridge Road).

Chester Ellis, Chairman of the Chatham County Board of Commissioners, and Patrick Farrell, representing the 4th District, will address several issues affecting local residents. This face-to-face meeting is a great opportunity to learn more about the organization and operation of Skidaway Island’s most important unit of local government -- Chatham County and its Board of Commissioners. Discover how your taxes get allocated and affect your quality of life by interacting with elected representatives who count the most. Plenty of Q&A time will be available to address such issues as those below.

  • Transportation Special Purpose Local Options Tax (TSPLOST)
  • new Chatham Fire fee which replaces the old subscription system
