Golf Cart and Cyclist Incident

Security’s day shift supervisor was advised of an incident involving a Landings cyclist and an unlicensed driver in the tunnel adjacent to Franklin Creek. CCPD was dispatched, and TLA Security is in the process of interviewing witnesses. If you observed this incident on the morning of Saturday, August 20, or know of someone who did, please call Tim Cook (912-598-5524).

Motor Vehicle Crash (MVC)

On August 22, Security and CCPD responded to Landings Way South and Blackhawk Trail regarding a MVC. A resident collided with a landscape truck/trailer. Although significant damage occurred to the resident’s vehicle, no injuries were reported.

Missing Trailer

A resident contacted Security and reported his boat trailer, which he parked in the parking lot at Landings Harbor Marina, appeared to be missing. It was later determined Marinas staff had moved the trailer. As a reminder, overnight parking in the HOA, Delegal, and Harbor parking lots need prior approval, and all vehicles, trailers, etc. should be appropriately registered.

Traffic Enforcement

Be on the lookout for Security Officers, and possibly CCPD, to be enforcing speed limits in the Tidewater area in the near future. Speed limits in the community are 30 MPH unless otherwise posted.
