Summer operating hours for Landings Harbor Marina are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. Delegal Creek Marina hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

As families search for fun outdoor activities that everyone can enjoy, we encourage Landings residents to visit our Marina facilities. A short walk on the pier or hanging out at the Dockside Bar (formerly the Tiki Hut) while taking in the fresh air and sights are special parts of what The Landings offers. Make a quick stop in the Ship’s Store for a cold beverage, ice cream, or our custom Landings logo apparel and merchandise.

Kayaking Delegal Creek and the surrounding waters is an exhilarating way to see the beauty of Skidaway Island. Daily kayak rentals from Delegal Creek Marina provide convenient access via a custom launch dock for both single and tandem kayaks. Half-day and full-day rentals are available. Call Delegal Creek Marina (912-224-3885) to reserve your rental today.

The Landings Sailing Club offers membership opportunities for residents to sail Rhodes 19 and J/24 sailboats in a club atmosphere. Instructional training, social events, regattas, and fun while enjoying the local waters are some of what the club offers. Call Doug Powelson (912-655-5485) for details on upcoming sailing, social events, and memberships.

For our current boaters, we are happy to see your familiar faces returning to the Marinas. If you keep your boat in a dry slip, the BoatCloud App is your best friend. Please call us (912-598-1901) if you are having trouble with the App or need a refresher on how to make a reservation request in seconds. Walk-ins will be handled in a timely manner, although it is possible you could experience wait times up to 30 minutes, so you are encouraged to use the App. Due to in-water staging area limits, we prefer to launch boats on time and when the boater is on-site. It is a vital communication tool for all of us, and we sincerely appreciate your cooperation.

We have new staff members on our team at Landings Harbor for the summer months. Dockhand training is currently in session to bring the new staff up-to-par for the busy summer. Recent forklift operator training brought our certified lift operators to six. Congratulations to Dylan Bedortha and Drew Holloway for receiving their lift operator certifications. We are excited that our staff are engaged and pursuing all training and knowledge that TLA offers.

Landings Harbor Marina is excited to announce we are partnering with UGA’s Skidaway Island Institute of Oceanography on the bubbler curtain project. This project is instrumental in keeping the high costs of dredging and material disposal from the Harbor at a minimum.

June 1 marks the beginning of the Atlantic Hurricane Season. Please ensure that your insurance documents are up-to-date and on file with the Marinas. Having a well-thought-out plan for your boat in the event of a storm is certainly less stressful than trying to figure things out on the fly. Be sure that you have firm reservations at a local haul-out facility in case you need to remove your boat from the water. Landings Harbor Marina is limited to a few wash rack spaces, so please do not assume we can haul and store your boat during Hurricane Season.

Stay tuned for more information, and we look forward to seeing you at the Marinas!
