Tidewater Square Maintenance

This week, Ace Construction began working on improving the drainage in Tidewater Square. This work will continue over the next 2-3 weeks.

Absolute Concrete also completed the installation of the gutter system around the square this week.
















2022 Storm Drain Project

Southeast Pipe completed its survey of the remaining 2022 project scope and will begin the Cured in Place Piping (CIPP) process on the storm drainpipes located on Chatuachee Crossing in June.

Lagoon Dredging Lagoon #4

This week, Estate Management began the placement of the SOX system on the bank of Lagoon #4 (Marsh Tower). The SOX system includes a fabric that is adhered to the bank of the lagoon wherein the dredge material is then pumped into it. There are three locations along Lagoon #4 that this system will be installed at. Weather permitting, this project is anticipated to take 3-4 weeks to complete.

Facilities and Park Pruning – Landings Harbor Marina

Staff continued to work on the Facilities Pruning Annual Maintenance with tree and palm pruning at Landings Harbor Marina.

2022 Spring Flower Changeouts – Gates and Amenity Areas

BrightView began working on the 2022 Spring Flower Changeouts at the gates and amenity areas this week. The flower changeouts (4) are completed annually as part of the landscape contract. The flower designs are approved by TLA Public Works Staff, in conjunction with the Center Island Committee.

Test Bollards Installed on Mainsail Crossing and Vandy Court Walking Path

On Wednesday, staff installed two new test bollards at the entrance of the community walking path at Mainsail Crossing and Vandy Court. The bollards were installed to limit the access to only allow walkers and bikers on the path. The removable bollards allow staff access for maintenance, while keeping golf carts off the walking path. The test bollards will be evaluated over the next few months to determine their durability and ease of use.

Kids' Fishing Lagoon Maintenance

On Thursday, staff completed pressure washing and repairing/repainting the signage and benches in and around the Kid’s Fishing Lagoon. As a reminder, this maintenance is completed to coincide with the CCA Kid’s Fishing Derby, which is held annually on Memorial Day weekend.
