Landings Harbor Marina

It’s been a chilly and windy week. There have not been many boat movements happening currently. Our team continues to clean and prepare areas of the marina for the warmer weather and busy season ahead.

Marina Ship’s Store

The store has received replenishment of our men’s fishing boat and women’s sailboat sun shirts that have been very popular! The women’s slub hoody in coastal green and blue colors is new and sure to become your favorite go-to shirt! We should be receiving replenishment of the men’s solar shirt with the map on the back within the next week or two. If you missed out on it the first time, make sure to come grab yours when they come in. There will also be a navy version as well.

Landings Sailing Club

On Saturday, February 5, the CSC Frostbite #5 Race will be dedicated to Todd Williams. He was a great sailing coach, competitor, and friend to all in The Landings Sailing Club and the Savannah area sailing community. There will be a gathering at the Dockside Bar after the races around 3 p.m. Everyone is welcome to come and join the celebration of life, even if you do not sail. The Landings Harbor staff will miss his smiling face and kind demeanor.

The team continues to work on painting the Rhodes 19 sailboat, Harvest Moon. They completed painting the top deck white. Progress will continue as the weather permits.

Dry Storage

Landings Harbor has had a few boaters relinquish their slips recently, and we are actively filling the slips with those on the waiting list.

Delegal Creek Marina

Delegal Creek Marina

I'd like to introduce myself. My name is Mike Marino, and I'm your new Dock Master at Delegal Creek Marina. We are searching for solutions to the bird problem that has escalated this year. We are doing our best to stay on top of this.

According to policy, we're pulling four crab traps out of the water that have been there more than 24 hours. The traps will be held for a week to be claimed. If they are not, they will be disposed of. Please reach out to us if you have any questions regarding the do’s and don’ts of crabbing and fishing at the Marina.

You can also visit www.coastalgadnr.org for information on fishing regulations and licenses for the State of Georgia.
