The Village Library Is Here Because Of You

A message to the friends of The Village Library:

“We are here because of you” has a double meaning. The Village Library exists to provide you with a welcoming environment and a collection that entertains and enriches. But we also are here because you support the Library with your dollars. Membership fees, fines and fees, book sales, and donations are our only sources of revenue.  

We are a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation that does not receive government funds. We are dependent on your generosity. In 2020, your donations represented 69% of our income.
