Fire

On Wednesday, March 31, Security and Chatham Emergency Services (CES) responded to a residence on Tondee Lane for a report of an open area fire. Upon arrival, CES discovered an unattended burn barrel fire. An attempt to make contact with anyone at the residence was unsuccessful, so CES doused the fire with a garden house.

 

Gas Leak

Security and CES responded to a residence on Yam Gandy Road for a gas leak on Saturday, April 3. The leak was found on the side of the residence, but the cause is unknown. Atlanta Gas responded to the location to repair the leak.

Suspicious Incidents

On Tuesday, April 6, a resident in the Deer Creek area reported hearing gunshots. He stated that he heard 5-6 pops coming from Shellwind Drive. A patrol officer canvased the area and saw no signs of people, gun smoke, or shell casings anywhere. No additional reports were received.
